Just a question because I know nothing about this show. Last year in the prvious crossover between PD & CF (the one with the explosion) there were a few doctors in the middle of that and I thought they were introducing them, but in this year crossover/introduction they were different. Isn't Amanda Righetti part of this show?

That's what I thought as well, but it appears none of those doctors are apart of this show. I think a lot of people, including myself, were hoping Amanda Righetti would be in Chicago Med.
I was also hoping Julie's husband, who's been on both shows here and there, would be apart of it but I guess not. There's always still a chance, right? __________________

According to everything I can find, Colin Donnell is the only Chicago Med series regular whose character wasn't introduced in CFire's "I Am The Apocalypse" episode.
There have been other medical characters introduced on both CFire and CP.D., but they work at hospitals other than Chicago Memorial, which is where Chicago Med will be set. __________________

Sorry, I still have no idea about how many hospitals they have in Chicago, I only get that there are at least two different hospitals.

I'm pretty sure the bombing was at Chicago Med though? I agree, I also thought they would include characters we have already seen like Dr. Willhite (who was seen working at Chicago Med).
