I don't understand why they would do that. Especially since they're going to do more crossovers next season. Figuring out the timeline next season will be a bitch when you have a show that's several weeks behind the other.

She totally is though... I just hope it'll be developped well and that they won't be rushing it like Donna's or Cindy's pregnancy.

Would they have to put her back on ambo? I can't imagine she'd be allowed enter burning buildings if heavily pregnant

Maybe they would keep her on truck but she wouldn't be able to enter burning buildings or do any work on heights? I can't imagine them letting her inside burning buildings while pregnant, even in the first trimester.

She totally is though... I just hope it'll be developped well and that they won't be rushing it like Donna's or Cindy's pregnancy.

I wouldn't count on it, they are not good at developing any story lines tbh, most of them are resolved within two-three episodes and have no real depth.

Women have been written terribly on this show. Can't they give her a better story line than a pregnancy?

I'd imagine she's have to stop everything for a while. Or they could find her a job bedind a desk or something. Cause as a firefighter, I don't see what she can do without putting her life and the life of the baby in danger. She can't enter buildings on fire because of the smoke which is not good for the baby. Plus, we've seen Casey going over the lines with her when she was working under him while engaged. Imagine now with his baby....he'd never let her do anything.

Karma Police I'd like to think that this time it'll be different, cause this is a baby between 2 main characters and they won't passe on the drama and angst it can bring. Especially with Dawson having to put a stop at her new career for a while and the fact that she and Casey aren't together. We'll have to wait and see. But Dawson is no Donna or Cindy.

I also disagree with woman being written terribly. If anything, Dawson is better written than most men on this show. But that's my opinion
