Chicago Fire 5x21 "Sixty Days" Season 5 Episode 21 Promo - Cruz (Joe Minoso) finds himself in a bad spot when an off-duty incident begins to unravel, prompting Mouch (Christian Stolte) to step in and offer help in hopes of avoiding serious consequences from the CFD. Casey (Jesse Spencer) goes head to head with a big politician to get his measure for first responders passed. Lt. Severide (Taylor Kinney) makes life difficult for newest team member Jason Kannell (guest star Kamal Angelo Bolden) and Dawson (Monica Raymund) gets an unexpected visit from her father (guest star Daniel Zacapa). Eamonn Walker, Kara Killmer, David Eigenberg, Miranda Rae Mayo and Yuri Sadarov also star.

OMG! Poor Cruz and poor Mouch for not being able to get him out of that jam. I have a feeling something bad is coming in the next episode. The promo looked really intense.

The rest of the episode was just so so for me. Gabby's father and his problems, Matt striking out with the city council, Stella trying to be there for Kelly - nice SL's but nothing outstanding IMO. However I did like Kelly bonding with Kannell at the end. Shared losses I guess and I think they will be good for each other.

I knew that guy saw something on Cruz's tattoo last week. I just didn't know what he saw. This week it makes sense he has a CFD logo. I think it's a little unrealistic. He was a bouncer and the owner wanted him out. Cruz was doing what he was supposed to do. 60 days suspension w/o pay?? That's crazy to me.

Poor Mouch! He tried, well sort of. He means well. I wonder if he will actually retire?

Papa Dawson is going to cause some issues I think.

The last scene with Kannell and Severide was nice. No words needed.
