TFTNT!

I can't wait to watch the episode! I'm beyond nervous. I hope it'll be good and not disappointing, especially after all the fuss we've heard over this crossover.

I'm really excited to see who get's to say the title tomorrow! I have a feeling it'll be Erin, but who knows. It might be Benson!

Right? It seems as though the next two episodes tonight really focus on Erin and Teddy, so it won't surprise me at all if it is Erin.

I wonder if the ratings will be as great on Chicago Fire. They had over 9 million viewers.

Great episode, I really enjoyed it. The only thing that was a glaring hole in the plot was the head paeodiphile apparently being won over by Benson's "do the right thing so you'll sleep better in prison" plot. It just didn't ring true to me. The man abused a foster care system for years without any guilt and ruined so so many children.. I have a hard time believing he'd suddenly be compelled to "do the right thing" unless they offered him some sort of reward besides a good nights sleep in prison.

So Lindsey has a brother.. they kept that hidden well. Poor kid... I wonder if we'll see him again.

Roman is like a little pitbull when he's angry. It's adorable.

They need to make a decision on Halstead and Lindsey. Either they want to keep them as strictly partners or they want to pair them up. Either way, make a decision and commit to it. The producers seem to constantly promote them via twitter and other media outlets yet they seem to scared to go there. Probably in case they lose momentum once they do. It's getting so annoying watching them promote the connection between the two and never follow through though. Half the interviews with the writers promoting the crossover referred to the ~Lindstead connection and then I don't think they shared one meaningful scene in either episode.

Benson and Voight are made of win.... my irritation at Bensons speech to the head of the snake aside, I did appreciate someone pointing out to Voight the ramifications of him using violence as a means to answers.

I was really hoping Erin was going to kid that little girl.
Don't know about anyone else, but I was liking the idea of Hank and Olivia as a couple. lol.
I hope they bring back Teddy again.
Great episode, really enjoyed it.

It was probably the best episode of Chicago PD we got up to now!! I've never been so emotional after an episode (especially coming from a cop show)! It took me on a real roll coaster of emotions and I've to admit that I couldn't help myself but burst into a whole bunch of tears towards the end.

The script has been BRILLIANTLY written. Kudos to all the writers who worked on it, honestly. I even preferred the CPD episode than the SVU one tbh. Everything fit amazingly and I thought the writers wouldn't be able to handle all these characters (our crew + Rollins, Amaro & Benson - that's A LOT!!) but I was completely wrong. They managed it better than I previously imagined.
Everyone had a decent amount of time on screen and I enjoyed every partnership they created on the field. The killer chase scene featuring Amaro and Halstead was action packed! I loved it!! Rollins and Lindsay partnered up was also delightful to watch.
But Voight&Benson definitely stole my heart yesterday. We could feel the sparks between them and I'm glad they were able to learn from each other. She pointed out that his violent methods weren't always the most efficient ones to solve cases and he listened to her. I agree that Benson's speech to the head of the pedophile ring was a little too convenient though.

Sophia's performance was stellar as well! The way she took care of that little girl melt my heart. She has been through rough things herself and she knew how to react and act around the child. Seeing them together ripped my heart out (their hug was adorable). I almost wanted Erin to adopt the girl. Nadia was also in the room and yeah, Lindsay has protected and saved her too so that only increased the emotional side of the scene.
Poor Teddy... I truly felt pain for him. I hope we'll see him again sooner or later.

The only disappointment came from the lack of Linstead. I knew I shouldn't get my hopes up and I was right. The little interaction they had was already spoilt so no surprise here. The writers should have add a brief moment where we could have seen them talk about the situation and Jay comforting Erin about her half brother... or maybe them taking care of the girl together. Anything small but meaningful. Anyway, I understand that the schedule was pretty tight. We constantly jumped from an intense scene to another. I don't know if anything would have fit with the pace of the episodes. I think it would have been better if the writers hadn't promoted Linstead at all, at least not for the crossover.
I still love these two but the writers should stick to a decision regarding the future of their relationship. Either way they keep developing them or they make it clear that they'll remain professional for the time being. I don't like the "one step forward, three steps back" we are currently getting that much.
I could sense the concern in Jay's actions and looks on SVU though, but unfortunately, nothing beyond stricly professional emanating from Erin. That's what bugs me the most I guess. Thus far it seems like their attraction is kinda only one sided. I'm not sure if Erin wants to move their relationship to the next level yet. Voight isn't even the issue
