Chicago Fire 6x03 "An Even Bigger Surprise" Season 6 Episode 3 Promo - Lt. Casey (Jesse Spencer) gets off on the wrong foot with Sam Mullins (guest star John Gatins), a temporary Chief who is filling in for Boden (Eamonn Walker) at House 51 for the morning. When Casey later makes a risky move in an attempt to save a distraught man from jumping off a building, Mullins has a surprise that Casey does not expect. Mouch (Christian Stolte) flies in Cruz's (Joe Minoso) brother Leon (guest star Jeff Lima) as a birthday surprise, but the rest of the squad struggles to keep it a secret. Meanwhile, Brett (Kara Killmer) is caught off guard when she learns new information about her hometown friend Hope (guest start Eloise Mumford). Taylor Kinney, Monica Raymund, David Eigenberg, Miranda Rae Mayo and Yuri Sadarov also star. DuShon Brown and Randy Flagler also guest star.

When Casey was getting promoted in Chief Boden's office, was Gabby there because she's the PIC of 61?

Idk, possibly. It would make more sense than her being invited because she's his wife. I wish we knew more about what this promotion entails.

That save was impressive, tbh. Very impressive.

What is going on with Hope and that money?

I was so enjoying my dislike of that interim commander and then he does something so amazing for Casey - gets him a promtion! Yes, I was shocked. :thud: As to Gabby being there, I'm sure it's because she's PIC of 61, the same way that Severide was also there as LT of Squad.

I'm glad Cruz got his brother back but the Leon thing went on and on a little too much. :crazy:

That interim chief was really getting on my nerves. That promotion completely surprised me. Glad it was something good because I was really thinking he was trying to get Casey written up. I kept thinking where is this going...Casey saved that guy's life!

I knew there was something up with Hope, but I wasn't expecting that. The look on Kelly's face when Boden introduced her as an employee was so funny.

I agree Sue, they did kind of drag the Leon thing out, but it was nice of Mouch to do that was Cruz.
