In the past months Kalinda always went to Cary and pretty much didn't reveal anything to Alicia until she had too, and still then she withhold information and even to get out of the investigation she planned something with Cary when she easily could have done something with Alicia. NOt saying that the CK relationship is better, and don't mistake me, I have always loved AK, but right now Kalinda is definitely closer to Cary than she is to Alicia.

I think both relationships are very important to her (she's obviously devastated in that last scene realizing that she's probably going to lose at least one of them soon). But I doubt she could really verbalize her feelings for either one of them to anybody. Real feelings for anybody really (friendship or more) are obviously something she either hasn't ever been good at or she hasn't dealt with in a long time. But I do agree with a lot of way you say. She is closer to Cary right now because while I think she's protective of him in a way she's more protective of Alicia and she didn't want her involved in this. She only went to her when it became apparent it was her only option. And even then she wasn't completely straight with her. When it occurred to her that their might finally be a way to get rid of Blake and save not only herself but the firm, she went to Cary and didn't even let Alicia in until after the fact (even though Alicia obviously was more amused by it then anything). I think that says a lot (not necessarily bad, either) about her relationships with both of them and how she views them consciously.

Exactly. I don't think she ever dreamed Blake would figure out her past with Peter. She was more afraid of him figuring out something else. We might have to wait a while for that, though. I think the Peter thing will be front-and-center for quite some time first.

And like I said I love the friendship between Alicia and Kalinda but I don't see it as the one true friendship, best friends forever, like some do. For that Kalinda would need to open up a lot more

I'm sure she hasn't opened up that much to Cary but she's shown him WAY more vulnerability, etc., than she's shown Alicia. A lot of it makes more sense NOW, but still...

I'm really hoping she continues to show Cary how much he's earned her trust. Because he has definitely earned it.

That was what I was trying to see earlier. She still tries to act as her usual self around Alicia and Alicia even questioned that in this weeks episode while she doesn't try so hard with Cary
