Such hotness. And sweetness. Perfection.

And yes, normal people do kiss. But that kiss was anything but normal.

I do think he surprised her there. I don't imagine she ever thought he'd do that. But it didn't seem to upset her too much.

I love how much love there is for it, though. It's so awesome, er, normal.

Thanks for adding and welcoming me!

It's good that Cary chose to stay at the State Attorney's office (for now anyways) so we get to see those moments between him and Kalinda. However, I hope the writers will take this whatever is between them in a nice and slow way and not crash and burn it.

yeah and I think he can her a lot more with staying at the SA office for now because he can get more information on the investigation

Without a doubt, as counterintuitive as it sounds, the best thing that happened with him getting fired was the development of his relationship with Kalinda. In this case, I really think absence made the heart grow fonder.

On another note, since I was feeling well this afternoon I needed my happy place more than ever so I watched a clip of the kiss over and over and over again. I keep noticing new stuff. Today it was a piece of dialogue that might have been throw away or you might be able to read something into it. I decided it makes me happier to do that latter. If you notice he repeatedly says "Childs" when referring to the indictment, etc. It's not "we" (like the royal "we" = SA's office)--almost like he's trying to not associate himself with it. That idea makes me happy cuz it means he likes her more than his boss.

Yeah, I'm in a weird mood. And still getting giggly over that kiss.

The first few times I watched it I was more focused on other things rather than the dialogue. It took me several times to notice that. Makes me think I should keep rewatching it. Might notice more little stuff. Or maybe it's just an excuse.

You can use that excuse with me...I'll allow it I'd use it myself

In my further watchings I really enjoyed how his fingers trickled down her face so softly.

Guys: Kalinda and Cary kissed. I KNOW. In my notes, right before Cary laid a polite smooch on Kalinda, I typed “That’s how you do sexy-ish chemistry show.” And then my note reads “!!!!!”. And I do mean “sexy-ish” in a positive way. The show has given Kalinda and Cary those lingering stares, and Cary does help her out quite a bit on cases even if he it’s not necessarily in his best career interest, like telling Kalinda about the grand jury. But why the scene works is that it doesn’t force the idea of attraction as it attempted to do with Kalinda and Blake. The surprise kiss does, in fact, after all the craziness, welcome Kalinda back to normal. Now let them make out some more, okay?

You don't have to be a shipper to like that scene. It was well written and wonderfully acted. Lana, Blake, Donna.... Cary and Kalinda beat them in a nanosecond mostly because you can feel that they really care about each other.
And as for the debate about the "I like normal" quote...I think some people should stop to reduce Kalinda's character just to her "sexuality" because obviously she wasn't talking about her sexual orientation .
