I hate it how ASP talked about a possible marriage between RL

Uh ha the ASP hate.

JJ was ruined for me the moment she got married to Chris and said ILY like she would say ' I want coffee' I understood that they needed to go back to that relationship to let Lorelai see that it would never work but that was just too much. Marriage and ILY was a big deal for her in the past, from the beginning on and I just couldn't take it. I might not even would have shipped JJ in a season 8.

I get the CL thing without marriage and ILY. Till today I still haven't watched episodes 7x07, 8 and 9 (Exceptions RL of course)

I actually can't And I think there was more to it than just the 2 year dissagreement. There is always more.

well I think it was just the 2 year disagreement, or it was money... I just hate it when a writer/creator doesn't want to end their own series when its most likely their last.

Yeah that is my biggest beef as well Karen. When a writer/creator doesn't want to see their own series to its end. Same goes for an actor. I mean I can see when the series goes on for along time, but going in especially if you are the start of the show. You should expect 5-7 years.

One other thing. I don't quite understand why the show stuck with Lane so long. Rory wasn't around much and it was pointless to have the Zach thing.

I still like ASP cause I wouldn't have Rory and Logan without her and she didn't break R/L. They could have done more with Lane by sending her to Connecticut College which was a liberal arts college or having the band make it big.

Both DP and ASP loved RL without a doubt, Dan and Amy talked about marriage being a option. THat they might be different but in the end they would just be right for each other. THe break-ups? Rl had to deal with it, and I think it was good for them, the first one for Logan realising his feelings and the second one for ROry to learn to accept Logans past and the problems that come with him. THey came stronger out of those situations (especially witht he accident)

They should have used her more. 5x19 was a great start but the phone calls in 6x10 and 6x20? Not enough.
