I've never wanted to slap a TV character so much than when she says to Lorelai that she feels sick and that her Graduation day was supposed to be this great day for her to look back on. And now its ruined.

Well, she should've said yes then. That would have been something nice to look back on.
Then Lorelai with her 'someday you'll meet someone and you wont want to hesitate. You'll just know' speil.

I'll act like I didn't read the comment about Lorelai so I don't have the urge to defend her.

But yeah stupid writers. The episode was just a big tease. The big goofy smile after the jump speech, her trying the ring on, her smiling with the ring on her hand and then oh but I so like my wide open future.

I can't help it. And after all you have to admit that what she said was true. First her daughter wasn't ready. That's a fact and she wasn't totally against the proposal the problem was the 'not here, not now' she knows her daughter, and although Logan thought it was special to do it that way we all know Rory would prefered it more privat.

And the comment about the moving on? What was she supposed to say? Great Rory, you kicked the man you are meant to be out of your life?

And I think Lorelai did want Rory to call Logan in the final, when she talked about him. But Rory cleary didn't want to

The only ones to blame are DSR and the writers cause they went with RL the season 8 storyline cause we knew that they depened on the decision season 8 yes or no. Matt always said that. They made a desicion, and it was the wrong one.
