I saw that recently myself and I still remember being surprised myself that she had those words. Mostly what I loved about that scene - besides obvious reasons - was how you see how much both Rory and Logan have grown and matured as a couple and individually. Still Rory knew that Logan probably wouldn't return the sentiment but I like what that moment helped to show - that Logan was now open, willing and content to her say that. There was no running away. There was no hestiation on Rory's part. Dean and Jess both said it first - and either she ran away from them or they run away from her - while more one than the other

It was a lovely moment. In many ways the quiet way it was done only made it more special and pointed to how much both had and continue to evolve and how they have both changed each other and preceptions of what it means to be loved and to love someone in return.

On Logan's part, it showed how he was comfortable, happy and content in his relationship with Rory. He knew it was a big moment for her - and understood the ramficiations. He was honest with her, which really touched me, and admitted that he didn't really use those words beforehand and mean them. To me, it was his way of reassuring her that when he said them it would be for the right reasons, and that she deserved to hear them only if he really meant them. And that kiss.

What a hot and beautiful way for Logan to say thank you for her revelation and wanting to offer her that he was here.. and

I think that was reassuring for Rory too, that she knew that when Logan would say it, he would mean it!
and it was nice to see that this moment just happened... no building up to it.. It just happened... and Logan being able to be honest to Rory and himself is really good for their relationship and the fact that Rory understood it so well.. Lovely!

and it wasn't all mushy... They threw in some comedy lines as well...
"The person who sold me this bag said that this would happen' or something along those lines... Hilarious!

I agree. I think it also showed him slowly maturing. It seemed more realistic to me.

Hey Nina stop lurking and join in on the convo

Okay, new topic for those interested You can always continue the prev. topic too

What season did you enjoy better for our couple?! Season 5 or season 6?! And why?

To be honest... I liked season 6 best for our couple (Don't hit me )
Reason? All the things they went through made them the couple they are today, strong and full of love.
In season 5 we got to see the cute moments and the commitment storyline.. But so many storylines were brought in for season 6 for our couple that I tend to enjoy those scenes even more then the season 5 ones

I enjoyed season 5 because of the thrill and "newness" of it all...(think YJIJJ, or BIAG) we see Rory and Logan both hesitating and wondering about the "rightness" of their being together, yet they can't help it, they're so attracted to each other!

But although season 6 was quite painful for me (in both RL and LL ways)...I do know that that was when we saw more depth and growth in the RL relationship, saw both the good and the bad in both Rory and Logan, saw them overcome their conflicts and issues. Its when they realize how much they love each other. Watching Partings just completely bowls me over.

So I guess I like both seasons, for different reasons

I agree with you Liane... Season 5 was all about the new thrills and the question if they should be together or not. Whether it was because of family or if it was about if Logan was willing to change his lifestyle and so on...

And season 6 was painful too, for LL and RL, but we kind of had everything, we had cute sweet moments, which happened mostly in the beginning of season 6 but also in between (6.15) and the last three episodes. They had emotional scenes, fights, differences... IMO a lot of ground has been covered already for this couple.. Especially for a couple that has been together for a bit more then a year. I think that's why I like season 6 a bit better... But I like season 5 a lot because of the cute moments they have...
