Platinum can be really pretty too, but I wouldn't say more elegant then white gold. Platinum is more expensive, they could afford it

This white gold one, is charming

not something I would pick though. I like wedding bands to be simple. Engagement rings however (we could also pick one out for that after we decided on a band) need a rock!
