I think she did love him a lot....and it was true love. I just don't think she actually fought for it, and him. She didn't know it was that definite, that saying NO it was actually ending it all..I didn't like that she just didn't take the jump ... that's all. Ido believe she wanted to say yes though maybe that's the hopeless romantic in me but

She wanted to say yes, she told him that. She loved the idea of being married to him. I just think that Rory believed it wasn't the right time for it yet.

People can be engaged many many years before they get married. I'm sure they woulnd't have broke up with a yes from Rory but a distants relationship. They could have worked everything out that way. But a No to the proposal was also a No to Logan in that moment.

She hadn't called him by then, in the finale, which is true, but I think it was hard for Rory to understand how Logan may react, and I think she still stood by her decision.

I get that Logan may feel like the 'No' was also a no for him, but I don't think Logan would have agreed with a 'Yes, but I want a distance relationship', I think that may still have felt as a step back since they still wouldn't be sharing the same life, in the same place.

I always got the feeling though from the finale, that Rory would call him one day. Even Lorelai had suggested/asked it.

She should have called him, I'm sure she belonged to him, she let go too easy. For once she needed to be a fighter. She was never a fighter in a relationship but I'm sure Logan would have been worth it to fight.
