I didn't know Young Americans was sorta a spinoff of Dawson's Creek!! When I watched it I didn't noticed the character was the same in both series!
So Chad and Matt were part of the same universe twice haha! |

That was really cool, so many shows were connected back then

^I will gladly be of service
and the YA/DC connection isn't that strong, it still after all these years seems like a random "we need to promote this new series so how about you spontaneously write a guest role on your show for our main guy" to me I'm not even sure they marketed it properly as a DC spinoff...or did they? __________________

I thought it was the reverse. That Will appeared in DC, and they had the idea of the series after that. But what you said seems more logical.
And I've just remembered Logan's mom was in DC... I could see Logan and Pacey being friends haha! |

No I think the show was already shot (or mostly shot) by the time Will appeared on DC? YA premiered in early July and Will appeared in late season 3, so just a few months before. ETA: Also, Will talked about how he was going to Rawley on DC before he left, clearly setting up the YA plotline
Also personally I don't see that much similarity between the Will that appeared on DC and the Will that appeared on YA but I have to admit it's been years since I watched the DC episodes __________________

Let's do it! Summer (winter for me I guess) is a good time! GoT will be over by then, GGRevival won't have been released yet...
