PassingShips {Cary&Kalinda} #45 - It may be over but it won't stop there, I am here for you if you'd only care.
Welcome to the spaghetti&hydrogen.unexpected allies.care-injured.passing ships. Cary has since early in Season 1 shown an obvious attraction towards Kalinda Sharma. In "Conjugal" Cary first revealed a fascination in her. In "Lifeguard", Kalinda famously tells Cary they're different as Spaghetti and Hydrogen. Cary, however, persists. In "Painkiller" he asks if she has a boyfriend. Kalinda, however, resisted all Cary's moves in the first two seasons. In "Great Firewall", after inquiring about why she told him about her new place, Kalinda tells him it "seemed normal". He then kisses her, telling her, "Welcome back to normal." In "Silly Season", Cary tells Kalinda of the fact that Childs is trying to investigate her and warns her that there're gonna be scarce and she is worried that he is gonna be one of them. Later her they team up together to free her from Childs investigations. In early season 3 Kalinda asks him for information, and he answers that he thinks that she tends to "use people's feelings to further her investigations." She seems surprised by this information and asks, "Is that what you think I did? Use you? Cary, whatever I felt I didn't invent.". After that their friendship comes to an halt a till In "Death Row Tip", while working on a case, Cary throws Kalinda to the ground during gunfire to protect her. She thanks him, which prompts him to state that he "doesn't like her in his head". Afterwards, the two share a kiss in his office, broken off by Cary. In season 4 "Running with the Devil" is suggested that their relationship progressed beyond a platonic one. As Cary and Alicia plan to leave Lockhard/Gardner, Kalinda walks a fine line being loyal both to her firm and her friend, but eventually betrayed Cary in "Hitting the Fan". This soured their relationship until their cleared the air in "We the Juries", after Cary played a trick on Kalinda by exploiting her ambivalent loyalties. She goes to see him at his apartment to apologize, later that night she admits that she misses him. He eventually entered into a sexual relationship with Kalinda and considered her to be his girlfriend but they never confirmed their status which Kalinda used to her advantage, getting closer to people whenever she needed something from them. Cary's conviction in the season 6 premiere leads to them once again getting closer and with Bishop to worry about it is now Kalinda's turn to protect him and she is working a fine and dangerous line to not only keep Cary out of prison but also alive. Although there are a few bumps on the road and without ever voicing it out loud, their connections deepens and strongest their bond. With Cary pleading guilty, Kalinda desperately in a Hail Mary attempt saves Cary and the trial is dismissed, but it leads to Bishops focus being on her now. She doesn't regret what she's done and helplessly Cary has to witness how she distance herself from him once again, telling him that he cares too much, to be able to help her. He waits for her at her apartment in an last effort for Kalinda to accept his help, begging her to allow him in. She silences him with a kiss. It's obviously a goodbye. When he later returns to Kalinda's apartment, she is gone and with her all her things. She's gone and won't come back. Yeah I haven't seen the complete journey yet!
 I'm curious ! I do enjoy seeing these scenes again.. Especially that scene when Kalinda notices she needs a guy to get into the locker room and next scene 'Big smile Cary' Hello Cary! __________________
