Yeah, I wasn't a big fan of the scarf either in the beginning, but after watching it about ten times I'm starting to think it's kinda cute.

The scarf isn't my fav piece of the outfit either, at least in the beginning... I'm starting to warm up to it though

I did find it nice that they presented Rory/Logan as the couple of GG.. Seemed like every show had their couple... OTH has Nathan/Haley and 7th Heaven had Lucy and her guy

And for Smallville you had Clark and Lois

I was a little surprised it wasn't Luke/Lorelai for GG, but it seems like they're just trying to appeal to the younger audience. I'm not complaining though. I love getting more Matt.

I think it was for the younger audience yes, you make a good point... I'm not complaining either, the more Matt the better

And Lauren G didn't seem to be available for these takes either since they used old footage in the image campaign...

I know that somebody wondered when the date was for the GG premiere and that I gave a link to the futoncritic site... Well yesterday it was officially announced by the CW that the premiere date of season 7 will be September 26!

as for Matt he attended

Czuchry told that story when introduced at a CW network party by co-star Scott Patterson (Luke Dane). Patterson, a former ballplayer, once spent a couple of happy days in St. Louis as a guest of KPLR (Channel 11) and regaled Czuchry with tales of throwing out the first pitch at a Cardinals game, meeting Tony LaRussa and Stan Musial and having a great burger at Harry’s with a certain Post-Dispatch TV critic.

“I love St. Louis,” Czuchry said, expressing hope that someday he, too, would make it to a Cardinals game. In fact, he added, he spent New Year’s in our town three years ago, visiting his good friend Casey Van
Valkenburg (he wrote that in my notebook to make sure I got the spelling right). Matt and Casey met as freshmen at the College of Charleston in South Carolina, played NCAA tennis together and have been pals ever since. Van Valkenburg, a Chaminade High School graduate, is now a lawyer in Clayton.

About New Year’s Eve – Czuchry still isn’t sure where he was all that time he was lost. When he finally got back to Van Valkenburg’s house, it turned out he’d only been 10 minutes away.

But if somebody — say, KPLR, home of both baseball and “Gilmore Girls”? — were to invite him to a Cardinals game, he’s pretty sure he could find Busch Stadium.

aw man, Matt's a Cardinals fan? I'm a Cubs fan myself (for those not into baseball, they're division rivals)... but I'm willing to let that slide since I love him too much

I have no idea how the sports are in the USA... I hardly pay attention to it in my own country?

Thanks Karen. I've been a long-time lurker but I think I'll be posting a bit more... we'll see if my busy schedule allows it.
The Cards are definitely the better team right now, but it's always fun to watch them play against one another since it's such a heated rivalry among the fans.

those are usually the best games, when they're big rivals of each other... You can always feel it during the game
