gilmoregirlsnews did a interview with Nick Holmes (Robert on GG) he talked a lot about his first episode (did you know he auditioned for Dean, Tristan and Jess? ) and also a bit about Matt.

“My first night of filming was in Griffith Park and that’s when I met Alexis, Matt, Tanc Sade, and Alan Loayza. I was terrified - but Alexis was really cool and Matt is the sweetest guy alive, so that helped a lot.
