TFTNT! I will love Alan forever for giving us the quote to use for the old thread title, but I like this one too.

I have lots of thoughts to post in the general episode thread, but I dunno if that will happen today, with Halloween and all. In the meantime, I transcribed the phone call (short and bittersweet as it was)...

Kalinda: It's the other seasickness band, Cary.
Cary: How do I know you didn't plant it there, Kalinda?
Kalinda: Because I didn't.
Cary: Uh-huh. And you just happen to know the number of Anders' locker?
Kalinda: No, I just happen to be a very good investigator. Look, check if you don't believe me.
Cary: I'll get back to you.
Kalinda: Whatever.

Whoa. That was icy, y'all. The edge to his voice when he says her name kinda shatters my shipper heart. Ouch!

He doesn't trust her anymore. And I can't blame him. But I'm also sad for her. And I'm sure Cary and Kalinda are not a closed file.
I think the thing between them started like every Kalinda's "friendships". She "tried" to use him. He should have been just another of her sources but then she really started to "feel" something for him. Unfortunally she kept acting like she doesn't care about it. And in the end she thought it was a good idea to freeze him out sending him the wrong message. The Kings said that they're going to open the closed door between them again. I'm not sure how they're going to do it. But I'm sure their way is not just "using Dana to make Kalinda jealous".
I think they need to "repair" the break and build something stronger and deeper between them.

That part especially was relaly ice cold. But I am glad in some way that they just didn'T drop the argument and returned back to normal. This is just something that won'T disappear and if she values his friendship which she definitely does she finally needs to get over her stubborn self and talk it out.

I think that is exactly what happened there. She never expected to actually starting caring for him which messed everything up for her

I agree with you on all of this They need to get together and just talk it out, even though it will turn into a fight. But when you aren't getting a long with someone, talking through it is the only way. Know this too well from my personal life And they are very strong hard headed individuals, so it was only a matter of time before this happened, I just hope that within the next couple of episodes, they can get back on track and be friends again. I love Dana, but she is no Kalinda.

THat is true. Dana is amazing. I love her attidude. Monica and Matt have great chemistry. I love the banter between Dana and Cary but she never will be what Kalinda is for him. I doubt she would be able to compete with her.

She won't. And Kalinda needs someone bad right now, I am not sure what is going on with her storyline this year, I hope they do more with her, such a waste.

It needs to change soon, over the next couple episodes IMO. Kalinda is my second favorite character, she deserves more.
