Matt Award Posting & Viewing Thread #2 - "Czuchry toed that tricky line between villain and hero flawlessly." TVLine
Welcome to the 2nd Official Matt Czuchry Award Posting&Viewing Thread Upcoming Awards: Emmy Awards, Nomination announced on July 14th 2011 What people said about Matt for the 2010/2011 Season Matt Czuchry, "The Good Wife" -- Given the show's deep cast, it's almost a given that Alan Cumming or Josh Charles or even Chris Noth will get the attention, but it was Czuchry's complex Cary that really took over the show for me this year, be it battling Alicia in court, romancing Kalinda on the side, or angling to get the best job possible. Cary was a little two-dimension in Season 1, but really came into his own this year as both an ally and an enemy. - TV-Guy @ macon.com "Czuchry toed that tricky line between villain and hero flawlessly." TVLine Analyze of the Supporting Actor race "Matt Czuchry (The Good Wife): sure Alan Cumming, Archie Penjabi, Christine Baranski and Juliana Marguiles will all be nominated for the even better second season of the best drama on network TV. But even better news would be a well deserved nom for the incredibly charming, smart, devious, cocky and often understated work of Czuchry as the attorney their firm let go who’s now often their primary antagonist in court. Czuchry’s acting choices are always unexpected and wonderful and he should no longer stand in the shadows on this incredible ensemble." - Jasoninhollywood "...and Matt Czuchry could earn his first Award nomination for The Good Wife" - GoldDerby "Margulies has already won a Golden Globe, two Screen Actors Guild awards and earned an Emmy nomination for her work on the CBS drama. But if Malco had his druthers, Czuchry would also be collecting hardware as frequently as Margulies is. Cary Agos has the fire! Every time he is on screen he pops like the Fourth of July, Malco says. I wish I had the ignorance to be so confident, the brain capacity to be so brilliant, the wit to be so charming and the strength in character to be so consistent. Matt kills this role and he'd better win something!"
