The coat didn't look that good on him in this scene.. I liked it better in 7.13

You could see in the scene that a part of Logan really wanted to celebrate with his father, he seemed a bit relieved IMO as Rory said that it was okay with her.

I think he wanted to be with his dad, cause whether we like it or not we always look for their approval.

And I think he did want to celebrate.. Maybe it was one of the rare occassions that Mitchum remembered or took time to celebrate his birthday.

It did ruin Rory's plans a bit but Logan was looking forward to the diner.

I don't think he was expecting it and I think it made him kinda happy cause it was not only his birthday but the deal he thought it was working and that Mitchum was proud of him
