Hooked is Matt's latest movie.. shot during the summer of 2005

SEX. POWER FAME.

Scotty Seymour (Matt) is a lowly accountant at Smythe/Waterhouse/Tyler who needs something special to impress the girl of his dreams. When Mr. Waterhouse learns that he can't use his front row Spielberg-adjacent tickets to the academy awards, a raffle drops them into Scotty's lap and turns his life upside-down.

Scotty believes he's finally got the goods for a date with his dream girl, until the entire office starts vying to be his date. And when the town's top celebrities start coming out of the woodworks to pursue him as well, it's looking more and more that Scotty's big break may end up breaking him.

R&L.net: Ok, we did get to see 'Hooked'. We sent in a check and got the DVD so that was really hilarious. Very entertaining.
Czuchry: Well thank you. That was a project that a friend of mine wrote and directed and starred in. And there was another one of my close friends who is going to be in the movie as well. And that was a specific kind of comedy that I had never done before. So it definitely was a challenge to flex those muscles in that way in this specific type of comedy that the director and the writer really wanted a specific way. So that’s why I took on that short film, just because it was going to be a challenge for me cause it was something I had never done before, that’s why I did it. I’m glad you saw it.

R&L.net: Do you think you will be getting the opportunity to work with Richie Keen again anytime in the future.
Czuchry: He’s so talented. Richie is so talented. He’s the one who wrote it and directed it and starred in it. It’s really inspiring for me to see him go through that whole entire process every step of the way. It was all his own passion and his own courage to go out there and get the cast that he got, to get the money to go shoot it, to get the locations to shoot it, to write it, to direct it, to be in it. It’s just an incredible undertaking for him to do that. Probably the best part about it for me was just so inspiring to see how passionate he was every step of the way. So, if I had the chance to work with him and that line is up, that would be definitely something that I would do again.

R&L.net: Yeah, I couldn't believe how many cameos there were in that short amount of time that the film was. That was pretty amazing.
Czuchry: It was definitely a credit all to Richie, he went after all those different pieces and he had a great script. So he was able to get all those kinds of different elements. It’s really a credit to him. That short film is really all about Richie. It’s his short film every step of the way.

Leave it to me to notice that though, I always notice that kind of crap, I wish I didn't sometimes, gets kinda annoying occasionally. I'll be reading something and will notice the spelling or incorrect grammar or something like that, it will be hard to focus on the words, hehe.
