No, you're not alone Karen. I agree. I like smut, and I get what Mariana is saying about trust and forming a physical connection that strengthens their emotional one, but we see that same part of their relationship over and over again with little of the emotional friendship side of things. One major thing I feel missing in GFAH is the easy banter between Rory and Logan. They fight more than anything else. I'd like to see the playful back and forth between them. I have nothing against the smut, but my problem is that I feel like she spends so much tie developing the physical side of the relationship, that she leaves out other important parts.

I know I should be writing, but I started this story on fictionpress and it's 83 freaking chapters long--and all the chapters are practically epic in length. And now I can't stop reading.

It's a story based of Cinderella, only not like a modernization of it or something like that. It's kind of like how the movie Ever After is a version of Cinderalla, presuming that the fairy tail wasn't the real story behind it all, but the plot is very different that Ever After. That probably doesn't make any sense,.

Basically it is this epic story of wars and magic and faries and the main character is an assasin who was really a Princess who was thought to have died when her family was assassinated (think Anastasia). She was caught and now the king wants her to assassinate the king of another country so that he can take over and in return she will supposedly get her freedom. And she goes under cover to the other country and she's supposed to snink into the ball for the Prince to kill him and the king. Only while she's there undercover she starts to discover stuff about her past and who she really is. It's really confusing but really good.
