Aw thanks for checking for me. That may just be the breaks. I went as far as checking the source code of the web page to see if there was some kind of way I could directly link to those fics but it’s all JavaScript and php and way beyond my level of expertise so I guess that’s just the way it goes sometimes.

Since I’m here though, I will leave a rec for a couple of gorgeous Rory & Logan fics i’ve Recently found and loved for anyone who might come here looking for new fics they can actually access:

This Love Left a Permanent Mark by englishpetal on Fanfic.net — lovely and thoughtfully written “fix-it” fic set pre, during, and post revival. The author takes a lot of care with Logan and Rory’s flaws and feelings and even though this one is technically not marked complete, the last chapter serves as a very sweet ending note.

Designated Survivor by Likerealpeopledo on AO3 — revival compliant fic where Shira and Mitchum die in a plane crash (I guess it could be an AU but who’s to say), Logan seeks comfort from Rory and finds out about the pregnancy. This one also has an in-progress sequel called Sweetness Follows about them raising their baby and coping.

Hockey Puck, Rattlesnake, Monkey, Monkey, Underpants on AO3. Same author as above and this one was written before the revival so it’s now a total AU but it’s a really wonderful world to imagine and a very sweet reunion

Glad you enjoyed. I typically hate them, too, actually. Pregnancy fics AND baby fics! The author does a really good job using the pregnancy and baby stuff to serve the story instead of just making those things story.

THe writers mostly tell the story about Rory keeping the pregnancy a secret from Logan, which is honestly a thing I don't see happening. So it always irks me when I read stories.

Yeah I can't get down with that at all. I've read ONE decent fic where Logan doesn't find out about the baby until Rory has given birth (and that's premature, which at least suggests she might have told him before the baby was born if she'd had as much time as she actually thought)

I can buy Rory being scared to tell him/needing to figure out what she wanted/hesitating to tell him/needing motivation from others to pull the trigger on it.....but any premise requiring me to believe Rory would intentionally, knowingly make a decision to keep Logan's kid a secret from him (and would do that successfully) gets a big hard nope from me.

Of course, she is scared, which is totally understandable given the situation they are in but considering the talk she had with Chris, I think there is no chance for her to not tell him.

Definitely. Like I know Rory Gilmore may be a flawed person & all but she's not a monster so any version of their story that plays out that way i'm like

Here's my Rl fic. It's au I started it pre revival. I can deal with a pregnancy fic and Logan not knowing till later as long as Logan gets a good reaction and doesn't automatically forgive her.

Mine not pregnancy it's rl being single parents and best friends who might be something more in the future
