I really don't know what to think about that spoilers... if it's just Dana who is being demoted I suppose it means that "maybe" we'll find out she did everything by herself and Cary didn't have a clue about it. But even so that storyline would sound contrived because Cary being in the dark about everything Dana did is absurd.
Anyway I feel it means bad things for Cary too and I also feel it means still no Cary and Kalinda scenes in the future.
I really don't know what's their storyline for Cary this year but I really know I don't like it.

I didn't even think about Peter finding out they were sleeping together. I'm not surprised Dana's getting a demotion. I'm honestly a little surprised she's not getting fired, although I can see her leaving because of being demoted, since she was prepared to at one time anyway (good riddance). Tragically, since Peter's mad, my hope for seeing Cary do any kind of "I told you so" dance is now dashed (that would probably get him fired now). But clearly Peter's s**t list is not a place you want to be so if I were Cary, I'd do what I was told and use the words "Yes sir" a lot for a while.

"Yes sir" line has the proper lenght to be a Cary's line. I can't wait to see how many facial expressions Matt will be forced to produce to compensate for it.

I think writers are more busy making Cary look an as....le again. If you think about it... he magically told Wendy about Alicia and Will inappropriate relationship and know we know "why": because, now that Peter probably is going to give him a good telling-off for his affair with Dana, Alicia worshippers will get everything they asked for. Writers love Cary. Yeah.
