I'm really excited, I'm totally up for a wedding

Although it probably won't be for a year. I want to wear a hat or fascinator but for the previous weddings I've been to I've always chickened out at the last minute

weddings. A girl I went to high school with got married a couple of weekends ago and put her photos up on Facebook. She got married by this cliff that over looks the river. So nice and I loved her dress.

fascinators and hats. They tend to wear them a lot for the races here. Melbourne Cup or the Perth Cup

There's this shop in the city that makes them all by hand

Oh, that sounds a gorgeous location. I'm really excited for my friend because I get all of the fun of weddings with none of the stress of being actively involved

I love to try on hats but I don't own any. I think I look quite good in them (oh so modest!) but I don't really have occasion to wear them but I'm definitely going for a fascinator this time. I'm determined to go for it

and all hats look funny on me. I like how fascinators look. I wouldn't mind a nice green one to go with my hair or blue ......

Anyway I better go. I want to hit the factory outlets tomorrow in search of some Christmas presents for Dad to take with him to the UK.

I forgot to check the weather forecast this morning and it poured with rain

I got into the city and was surprised by this downpour of rain. Anyway I got some great bargains from the factory outlet. I got a skirt, top and flip flops (I nearly said thongs and then realised that some of you may wonder why on earth I was buying my sister underwear for Christmas) for $30 (just over 10 pounds). Which I was really happy with. Though I was just going through my niece and nephew's presents and I got the wrong size for my nephew.

Anyway I'm going into far too much detail about my shopping trip

Kat - I'm probably going here for NYE as I can walk there from my friend's house.

I know ... I don't wear flip flops myself as I don't like my feet

It is annoying, but I do need to go back to the surf shop and have a proper look for a present for my sister's husband. I walked in there this morning and was a bit overwhelmed with piles and piles of boardshorts and bikinis

It is really nice down there. That's usually where we hang out for birthdays or on a Sunday.

Their beer is supposed to be really good ... I've never tried it as I don't drink beer. But a lot of people around here swear buy it. :beer:
