A lot of actors and actresses start their careers on televions shows and then as they get more popular, they leave their shows.

As we all know, Mischa's career is taking off. She's getting more movie roles and is getting more acclaim for her skills.

If you were her, would you leave the OC to pursure more movies or other roles?

I don't know if i would leave the tv show, it would really depend on what roles are offered and much the fun the show is.

I personally hate when actor/actresses leave their original roles. I think it shows ungratefulness.

and if i were Mischa and got to work with such amazing people, I wouldn't leave.

I have more respect for people who stay on their tv shows so I think Mischa should stay. She has a recurring job that she gets paid for without auditioning every single time, and she has fame along with it. If she wants to film movies she should do it during filming hiatus but shouldn't leave the show.

Yeah!..she wouldnt do that i dont think she would anyways but i know i wouldnt i mean unless they cut her pay or let her go i dont think shes going anywhere..

Well, Mischa has said she'd be stupid to leave The OC (in her recent Giant magazine interview). While I personally wouldn't, I have a hard time critisizing anyone who feels they need to make the best choice for their career and their life. I think sometimes we lose track that this is her CAREER. It's her livelihood. And if she were to leave, she'd have her reasons we probably wouldn't be privy to.

Well, since I don't like the show, and she was the only one who had a large career before it (other than Peter and Tate...and kinda Adam), I think she wouldn't have to worry about anything if she did leave.

I don't really agree with that, if she does't like the show anymore and she can get better roles, that she likes more, why not?


Personally i think we all have nothing to worry about, cause she really enjoys the OC, but it will always be her right to choose.

Yeah, like I said she had her name before the OC, all that did was heighten it.

Well that's true too I guess. But can you imagine The OC without Mischa?

I can, because personally, I don't really like it as a whole, and I think it's taken from so many other shows, I could totally see it without her, but it wouldn't be as good as it is (even to me) without her, lol.
