News Mischa Barton is back at work. After being admitted to an L.A. hospital last month, the 23-year-old actress was on the New York set of The Beautiful Life August 10. In the new CW drama series, Barton plays a model turned-drug addict. “I’m so excited to be immersed in production on TBL. Even though we’re mostly on sound-stages, there’s an energy in NYC that translates into each episode. Sonja has been out of the country for mysterious reasons, and is now desperate to convince her agent, Claudia Foster (Elle Macpherson, “Friends”) that she can reclaim her standing as the reigning supermodel.
