Sonja (The Beautiful Life) #4: September 16th can't get here fast enough!
Welcome to the 4th Sonja Stone Appreciation Thread!  This is the thread to dish about Mischa's character Sonja Stone in the upcoming CW drama The Beautiful Life, set to air Wednesdays this fall. Sonja is an older supermodel in the show, willing to do almost anything to stay on top. Join us as we dish about what we know, gush over promotional pictures, and wait for more information!   Mischa Barton joins CW's 'Beautiful Life' “The O.C.” alumna Mischa Barton has been tapped to star in CW’s drama pilot “A Beautiful Life.” The project, from CBS Par, revolves around a group of models living together in a co-ed residence in New York. Barton will play Sonja, a supermodel and veteran of the high-fashion circuit who is struggling to keep on top and is in danger of slipping. Barton can bring personal experience to the role as she has modeled for such companies as Calvin Klein, bebe stores, Aeropostale, Monsoon Accessorize, Dooney & Bourke and JC (Jeans and Clothes). Barton was originally up for another CW drama pilot, “Melrose Place,” but that casting didn’t materialize. Best known for her role as Marissa Cooper on “The O.C.,” Barton is repped by Paradigm. Mischa Barton joins CW's 'Beautiful Life' Mischa excited about fashion drama Apr 22, 2009 Mischa Barton has promised her new TV show is going to be "like The OC times 10". The 23-year-old actress is to star in a fashion drama - rumoured to be titled A Beautiful Life - on The CW channel. Mischa said: "It's like Entourage for the fashion world and I think there's a real market for that these days -it's like taking what's really fun and guilty about The OC and it's like that times 10, because the fashion on The OC was definitely great but this would be like couture." She continued: "And there's something so fascinating about the world of couture that hasn't been explored properly and I think it could be really exciting. "I hope this show will take off and I think if it does it will be a huge hit. "I don't want to be presumptuous, but I mean we just got so lucky - Zac Posen has a fashion show in the first episode and plays himself as a designer. "My character's in a Versace dress and me and the other girls styled ourselves and we're all wearing incredible McQueen shoes and great bags. "Elle McPherson plays the modelling agent, ex-model, in it. It's just really exciting so maybe it will be a good fit." Mischa has always loved fashion and styled herself in teen drama The OC.  BTW, Sara was on a radio show and briefly mentions Mischa: Sara Paxton 6/25/2009 - WZAP Radio on Blog Talk Radio Her segment starts about quarter the way through. She says the show starts on Mondays after Top Model. And gets completely flustered when asked about Nico. It's funny. I think she needs a few notes, lol. And the rest of it is just hilarious. They released those early stills of Sara but they REALLY need to release some of Mischa.
Things should roll pretty quickly come July. Cause it'll be filming and then promo will have to really start heating up cause September isnt that far away. __________________

I listened to that interview today. Sara is adorable. I really really really like her.
She seems laid back and chill. I think this whole cast does. Which is Mischa's MO. Thanks for starting the new thread. Looks awesome. LOVE THE GIF! __________________
