It looks a bit like an ABC Family original.

Got to say that I quite enjoyed watching this. OK, it's not as gripping as most of her recent stuff, but it was a good way to waste an hour or so.

I feel like things go so under the radar if they're not on Hulu or Netflix.

Or at least Amazon Prime. I pay for three major streaming services, so I'm a bit wary to pay for other stuff.

According to a friend of mine, this is now being shown on rotation on one of the minor movie channels on Sky in the UK. I can't remember which one they said it was (not an actual Sky-branded channel, but one of the others they carry), but I think they did say its being shown again tomorrow afternoon (Saturday) about 1pm.

I watched this yesterday. Normally I don't go in for these sort of films, but I found this quite a charming little film. As someone who is old fashioned in some ways, the central idea of the film (stepping back from technology, and connecting with those around us, on a personal, face-to-face basis) was most appealing. I have a facebook account, but almost all of my friends, are people I could just as easily see face to face. It was also nice to see Mischa smile, something she doesn't do that often in her films. You can guess how the film ends, but the two leads were likeable, and there is nothing that is going to make you not want to see it again.
Now if The Joneses Unplugged could get a DVD release (because I am all about the physical release rather than digital), that would be great. |

I'd like to see it get a DVD release too. There's far too much stuff now that's online or VOD only, and not everyone can watch that.

I agree - there's no way I'd ever sign up for a subscription for a streaming service just because of one show, which means that there's a few I've wanted to watch, but haven't been able to because that was the only way to see them.

I caught it when it was on TV here. It's OK, but a bit predictable. Mischa looks great in it, though, so it's definitely worth it for that if nothing else!

So it's a bit sad, and not the first time it's happened to Mischa, but this turns out to be one of her co-star's final roles- David Ogden Stiers has passed away RIP.
