So do I, but I'm proud that she's fighting this so hard. Every win in favor of a woman against revenge porn is one more law put on the books, that helps more women in the future.

I don't think there was ever any chance that Mischa was going to just roll over and let something like this happen to her. She's had to be a fighter to get where she is, so she was always going to do everything she possibly could to fight this - especially considering how damaging it could be to her career.

It's really difficult to fight, is one of the problems- there aren't a lot of clear laws against revenge porn. That's why every win in court is so important right now.

I think some other countries do have much clearer laws, so it's definitely another area where the US is significantly behind.

There have infamously been some cases where the courts basically forced the woman to patent her own body, which means she had to scan her nude body and send those scans to the patent office. As a whole, we're not doing...great in this area :/

America certainly isn't a great place to be a woman right now - or anything other than a rich old white straight male - so fights like this certainly are important, and I'm glad that Mischa is helping lead the way.

Of course, it would have helped if her lawyer hadn't just attempted to defend Harvey Weinstein. Sigh.

I think she probably took the case before all of the facts had become apparent.

I think she didn't know HOW epically creepy he was, but it was unfortunate she apparently was going to use women's later contact with him as an attempt to paint them in a negative light. She better than most knows how Hollywood works, and how powerful Weinstein was.
