I'm C&Ping this rant of mine so Cat sees it, because I think she'll like it, lol.

I honestly just don't...I've LOOKED for reasons to like Ginny, and I don't see any. Hermione was jealous and that's why she didn't like Fleur; Ginny did not have ONE reason to be so vicious about her, or to do things like trip Ron and make him fall face first in the mud. I remember her saying she hexed someone just because he annoyed her and that's why Slughorn singled her out. She brought up Hermione and Krum just when Ron and Hermione were starting to get along, when Hermione is supposed to be her friend. I don't know when JKR decided to turn her into this, into the mean kid who picks on everyone just because she feels like it. And all she sees of Harry is The Boy Who Lived, the Hero. Not just...Harry. Which is why she was never included in the inner circle, why she still had to leave before Harry would open up about anything real- at the end of the day, he doesn't trust her as much as Ron and Hermione, and really, he has no reason to. And I want more for Harry. I want him to have someone he can completely open up to, about everything that he feels and everything that scares him and all the information he can only share with someone he absolutely trusts. His life is so hard. He can't be in a relationship with a girl who wants him to be a hero on top of everyone else who expects him to be their savior. Hermione is terrified when he goes to do something dangerous- Ginny is excited. She specifically said that's why she likes him. That, to me, says Harry matters more to Hermione than to Ginny, that Hermione would feel the loss of him more than Ginny would.
