Neil Patrick Harris on Grey's Flap: "It's Disappointing"Just getting back from CBS' press-tour bash, where Neil Patrick Harris weighed in on — what else? — Grey's-gate.

"T.R. has proven himself to be an incredibly classy, dignified guy," he told me. "I'm impressed that Katherine Heigl said what she said. I was shocked that it all reared its ugly head again."

Harris — who came out just weeks after Knight — wouldn't comment on what form Washington's "punishment" should take. "It's impossible for me to make any kind of comment about that because I wasn't there when it happened. It's just disappointing that it's... cyclical."

Meanwhile, the word from the Grey's set is that Washington's problems extend far beyond his affinity for a certain derogatory F-word. Per a source, his behavior has been so "inappropriate and offensive" for so long that producers have often been forced to intervene.

And Washington's mea culpa may be too little, too late. A separate source at Grey's suggests that while Washington is sure to receive the reprimand of his life, another option being considered by the powers-that-be would offer a more, ahem, permanent solution to the problem.

That sounds like it's likely he'll get fired, but he issued a public apology and is making an appointment with GLAAD, which I think means he probably hasn't been fired YET. We'll see!

Meanwhile, congrats to Greys for winning the Golden Globe!

Isaiah made a big mistake but, sure, now he's really popular. Sarcasm.

It's hard to see his scenes on the show especially his interaction with the others.

I didn't like Addison in the past episode. She aborted Mark's baby etc...

Perez is blowing this way out of proportion:

The fallout from Isaiah Washinton's continued inappropriate behavior is hitting ABC where it hurts the most - in the ratings.
Up until this week, Grey's Anatomy had a dominating lead against every competing show in their timeslot.

However, last night's episode saw CBS's former powerhouse, CSI, trail Grey's by only 611,000 viewers, according to the Nielsen ratings.

Additionally, CSI beat Grey's to become the #1 program of the night among key men.

As ABC continues to vacillate, advertisers will become wary of putting commercials on the now tainted Grey's Anatomy show.

No word yet on when the network will announce Washington's fate. They've said they are "addressing" his hatred and lies.

With "Grey's Anatomy" and "CSI" both airing new episodes Thursday, ABC and CBS battled to a near-dead heat in the ratings.

The two networks tied for first in households, each drawing a 10.3 rating/16 share for the night (CBS had a small edge in viewers). NBC was well back in third at 4.6/7. FOX, 2.9/4, edged The CW, 2.6/4, for fourth.

ABC grabbed the top spot among adults 18-49 with a 5.6 rating. CBS, 4.9, took second. NBC finished third with a 3.2, followed by The CW, 1.9, and FOX, 1.8.

At 9 p.m., "Grey's Anatomy," 14.1/21, kept ABC in front of a new "CSI," 13.2/19, on CBS. There was a big drop to third-place NBC, which went with "Scrubs," 4.1/6, and "30 Rock," 3.4/5. "The O.C." scored a 2.6/4 for FOX, good enough to beat "Supernatural" on The CW

I know they'd promoted the hell out of CSI, with some major new guest star, and Grey's still kinda beat them. That said, it didn't INCREASE with Isaiah's behavior, but they didn't decrease by much either.

O.C. fans—hope you're sitting down. The CW is not picking up The O.C. "Obviously, it came up," Ostroff says of the possibility of the move, "but we really didn't think it made sense for us for several reasons. And we're very excited about Josh [Schwartz]'s new show."

Ostroff definitely sounds high on One Tree Hill, taking pride in the show's numbers, and the contest for the show to come to your hometown, which she calls "one of the best things I've heard about on any network."

A reporter did not even get out the full question, "Would you consider One Tree Hill a candidate for next ye—" before Ostroff firmly said, "Yes."

I said all along that it was way too risky. The OC is expensive without any guarantee of what kind of ratings it would get on The CW. The cast is one that does not want to continue for a couple more years.
