| Sam, you probably already know this, but I'll put it up for you just in case you don't: The Fantastic Four enlists help from Andre Braugher and Beau Garrett to save the universe once again. The newcomers join Jessica Alba, Chris Evans, Ioan Gruffudd and Michael Chiklis in 20th Century Fox's sequel to its hit Marvel Comics adaptation. Garrett plays Frankie Raye, the love interest to Evans' Human Torch, while Braugher is a general hunting the (still uncast) Silver Surfer. Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer is currently shooting in Vancouver. According to my peeps at the CW, Dawn Ostroff (the old UPN boss, who's still in charge of programming, thank you, Jesus) still loves herself some Veronica Mars and is willing to do what it takes to save the show--including, you know, putting it on after America's Next Top Model--which she did. Also, the good/bad news is that so far, there has not been a drastic change in ratings (with the new network), so even if Veronica holds her own or improves a smidge when she returns this Wednedsay, she should be safe. Here's the thing, though: There are no promises, and this is why you should force everyone you know to watch the premiere! Viral email works! From thebaitshop: Saw Veronica Mars online, what an opener! I totally agree with you about Chris Lowell. Way better than he was on Life as We Know It. Any scoop about our favorite teenage detective? Yay! Only that I truly believe the second episode to be classic Veronica Mars and better than the premiere episode.
