Even if she didn't know exactly what Kanye had said about her in his song, if she had ANY idea he was going to sing about her and okayed it, she should've just gone with it, or at least blunted her protest. Because as it stands now, she looks like a liar.

Which isn't to say I like that song, lol- personally, I think it was cheap and made Kanye look trashy, whatever Taylor did or didn't say. But she was either in or not.

It's not just that part I think it's her feminism schtick people are side eyeing a bit. The way she has amazonians and Selena Gomez as her squad girls and it all feels like they are getting paid for it. Also remember how she dismissed Nicki's tweet about how white women and women of color are treated differently? Yeah that wasn't pretty.

That being said I love how giving she is. I don't care if it's a publicity stunt it makes her fans aware of the things that's going on.

I'm a bit torn about that.

For me, the flag, the national anthem... These things represent hope and solidarity. So even if there are some serious issues going on, you still want to believe that things will change. So you stand behind your country for what it will become, if not what it already is.

I don't think anger needs to translate into disrespect towards the citizens who are good and the ones who fight for you.
