I don't feel like anyone should criticize Tom on that front either, because he is really the only one whose character takes a massive hit every time she's even mentioned. Ichabod is so funny and cute- until she comes up, and then he's just annoying. And Tom has less than no chemistry with Katia- I mean, that is some Jason/Emilie, Katie/Stephen realness- so it sucks all the energy out of his scenes when he's actually acting with her.

I have no idea why- to me it's relatively harmless until I realized Thea wasn't even in it, lol.

I think Katrina really drags Tom down and it's not Katia's fault. The writing for her is atrocious. Lily Kane. Allison Delaurentis having those cameo scenes on their respective shows were written way better than what they are doing with Katrina. I think the SH writers don't hate Katrina the way JP does Elena and anyone dark skinned. lol but like the Arrow writers with Laurel they don't seem to know how to add her in.

Thea being missing should be the reason people should bitch but thats not why at all. lmao

Actually, I just can't come up with a way Katrina- or Katia, frankly- adds to the canvas at all. They sell her as this hugely powerful witch, and then she basically moves twigs around and constantly gets captured. Nicole, bless her heart, really tries to include her in the "this show is filled with powerful and wonderful and independent women!" But it doesn't really work.

Well, it's obvious they took the Tom/Nicole chem test really seriously, and I think that was a good idea because that dynamic has been essential to the success of the show...but it just leaves Katia hanging awkwardly out there, lol, with absolutely no chemistry with Tom.
