hey what was everyone's first show they ever obsessed over?

kinda random but just curious..

mine was WALKER TEXAS RANGER. I used to obsess over this show when i was a kid. Chuck Norris was my idol growing up.

i don't think noone on tv past or present was more bad-ass than Cordell Walker. Not even the likes of Eric Northman or Walter White.

Going way back to when I was super young, it'd be a tie between Saved By The Bell, I Dream Of Jeannie, and maybe Blossom. When I was old enough to understand everything though, like 11, I'd go with 90210 as well.

Mines was probably The Simpsons in the late 80s. Lol/90210/California Dreams/SBTB/Silk Stalking s as well. My mom was ok with us watching BH90210 but she hated it when we watched silk stalking s. lol

I think the first show that took over my fandom life was Buffy, though. And there was that period of high school where Buffy, The X-Files, and Roswell were all going on at once- that was intense, lol.

Girl me too. Buffy started when I was in middle school but lordT I wanted to be her. Also Xena Warrior Princess/Baywatch/Hercules lol. Then high school came along and I had to figure out which one to obsess about because Roswell/Felicity/Buffy/Alias/ god damn SATC all coming out. And SMALLVILLE. Lol

And then it got worse in college when OTH/The OC/VERONICA MARS/Gilmore Girls/Lost all took over my college yrs. lol

I'm not even counting on the comedies I've loved since i was a kid other than California Dreams and SBTB. Let's not forget that the good age of Disney Channel came about in the late 90s. LMAOOO

I don't obsess over shows now tho.

The girl who plays Maya is my favorite character not named Cory and Topanga.

Captain Planet, yes I remember that. Though I can go a little further back with Stoppit & Tidyup. Of course, there was also The Real Ghosstbusters, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Inspector Gadget etc...

So Mark Ruffalo is saying Ben Affleck more or less forbade Jen Garner to keep being friends with him. It wouldn't altogether surprise me- there were rumors from the Alias set in S5 that Ben is a massive control freak.
