This was my response about the Knox case:

I don't think she was in the room- there's no DNA evidence she was in there. I think she got badgered into giving a "theory" about the creepy boss that the cops took as fact. Also, there's no indication Amanda knew the man who DID kill Meredith, nor did Amanda have any motive anyone could find. By all accounts, they were friends. Also, there is a clear phone record that Amanda came home the next morning, panicked when she found blood and no sign of Meredith, couldn't open the locked door, and called the cops (hilariously, evidence they tried to use against her was blood she acknowledged tracking through before she was ever a suspect- HER apartment was a bloody mess when she got home and couldn't find her roommate, of course she tracked blood)- usually, the guilty party doesn't call the cops. I think this was a shoddy police investigation and a corrupt prosecutor.

I am interested in true crime so I looked into this a little on news sites- I just can't see any logical evidence Amanda Knox had anything to do with the crime, or any decent physical evidence. The knife they claimed had Meredith's blood on it was not the murder weapon, the sample was minute and corrupted, and the girl had access to the knife anyway- she could have cut herself with it.

I'm enjoying Fringe as always, and Castle. I haven't seen enough of the new shows yet, I don't think. Nothing has grabbed me or repulsed me, lol.

NCIS has been great so far, too.

Her lying and back peddaling is the only thing she was guilty of. It's the only little thing in the back of my mind that would tell me she must've known this guy. Plus her stories about rape and murder. Granted for all we know the Italian media was blowing it out of proportion. But the fact the only DNA they found was that other guy proves her and Rafeal's innocence. I think people said the way she was acting at the police station made her look sketchy as well. My new favorite shows are New Girl, Revenge and Homeland on Showtime.

I do think it's possible that the Italian police badgered the hell out of her until she didn't know what she was saying too, though. And obviously, the prosecutor is corrupt and should not have a job, lol. The prosecutor and the police made such a mess out of this case, it's hard to know which way is up. Also, they cut a deal with the only known real killer of Meredith, who was probably lying and will now only serve 16 years. The moral of this story is BE FREAKIN' CAREFUL IN ITALY, because clearly the cops are not of any use.

Watching Glee now- WOW, Mercedes is unlikable in this episode.

Do you think they bullied Amanda because she's American?
I watched some of Glee LOL I'm like an abused child with that show.

They might have bullied her because she was American (or just foreign?) or because at the time they needed an explanation as to what happened and she was a weak patsy.

The thing is, Amber is SUCH a blank actress that some of her weakest songs have been from Mercedes' beloved Dreamgirls, because she can't sing and act at the same time, lol, which is what is required in a musical that's telling a specific story. Amber is just not a theater actress. Hence the only song from Dreamgirls this show has ever full-out nailed is "Listen". Also, Amber literally can't do Maria. It's not "outside the box" casting, or "risky" casting"- it's BAD casting. Maria is a part for a soprano, almost an opera role. Lea isn't perfect, but she can do it- Amber just can't. She has the wrong voice for the role, like Chris has the wrong voice for Tony. West Side Story is what it is. There should be more male leading roles for guys like Kurt or girls like Mercedes on Broadway- but this is not one of those shows.

Also, her calling Rachel a skinny animal wearing ass kisser was as offensive as Santana mocking her about her weight, but Mercedes is so self-involved I'm not surprised she doesn't see that.

But I'm starting to seriously suspect the Glee writers have not actually SEEN West Side Story, lol. So there's that.

LOL. Mercedes was giving Quinn a run for her money in the brat department. I'm sure she'll relinquish the throne again when Quinn no doubt decides to literally steal the baby.

ETA: RINGER. I'm fully getting into this show. Each week is better and better.

Quinn appears to be putting hot sauce in Beth's food or something in the previews for the next episode so Shelby will be seen as an unfit mother- Quinn's careened straight past brat into "delusional psychotic break", lol. Which gets more of a "........" reaction than a "Would you shut UP?" reaction from me. Quinn needs professional help. Mercedes needs for Shelby to make her life miserable in ways she never dreamed of with Will.

Amber Benson guest-starring on Ringer

Aw, that's cool! I heard Charisma Carpenter and James Marsters are going to be guest-starring on Supernatural as a husband and wife duo.

My mom is COMPLETELY hooked on Revenge, to the point where she talks about the characters like real people, lol. "It's so sad, he died an innocent man!" "Aw, he has to sell his boat!"

What was interesting to me in the last episode is that I'm not sure Amanda knows it, but she's almost doing Victoria favors. She DID reveal the affair between her husband and her best friend, but better that than not knowing in the long run, and now two weeks in a row she's leveled men that Victoria despises. I love their scenes, though- so much hatred seething underneath the surface, lol.
