This just makes me want to watch 19 different shows right now.

And going back to the depressing shooting convo... there was a kid in Omaha who went into the school office after getting suspended and shot the principal and killed the vice-principal. Then killed himself. This happened last Wednesday. I just can't believe how common it is now. So sad.

And I know. What's really depressing is that things like this barely make the national news unless at least a dozen people get shot or killed. A man in Charlotte killed his entire family and himself a week or so ago- barely made even the LOCAL news. And a young child in Hickory was recently not only murdered but DISMEMBERED and scattered across various places, probably by her father, and while it did make Nancy Grace, already it's died down. I mean, is violence just that common? Are school shootings becoming some kind of norm?

It seems like it! I'm astonished by how we've somehow made violence almost cliche. Like "Oh, only a few people were killed... eh"

In the US, over 30,000 people are shot to death and 200,000 wounded each year. The US is #1 in the world for gun violence by a huge margin!

It's pathetic that we act like we don't have a serious gun problem in this country. And we own a gun, and I know how to use it. I've been shooting guns since I was 7. But still, our gun laws are too lax, and we aren't even enforcing the laws we DO have. How did the Tech shooter get a gun? How did this guy in Arizona manage to get one?

I'm not watching Off the Map, at least not right away. I saw promos for it during Castle too, which didn't help. Zach is barely in them, and he's my only possible draw.

If it miraculously is better than I think it's going to be, it can stay. If it sucks, I'd rather it get canceled so Zach can move onto something better.

Did you see the promo for the next episode, Chris? OMG.

Finished my Sydney series! This show was so satisfying on every fandom level.

I have some stuff saved for a Matt and Julie series (alternating between the two characters in S2 when they rarely shared scenes) and a little bit saved for a possible Rick Castle series.
