I'm hoping Glee takes Best Comedy, because I feel like Modern Family got stale and I started looking forward to Cougar Town more on Wednesday nights. Glee, as bat**** as it got in the back 9, was always fun to watch.

I knew Foxy wasn't going to win. Or Kyle. Like, I wasn't even hopeful. LOL. I was shocked he got the nod. He's always been overlooked. Oh, well. I know he was awesome as Jack! Hopefully one day he'll find a critical darling and win lots of Emmys.

I'm kinda sick of Kyra in The Closer, though. She's frankly highly annoying in that role, I think I'd confess just to shut her up.

I am watching: Fringe, JJ's new show, SVU, Medium, I'll check out TGW and TVD DVDs, Glee, Bones although my patience is wearing thin, Castle, HIMYM...no doubt I've left something out.

Well, Glee is a lot of things. I don't see it as a comedy primarily. And I'd rather see a show which is strictly designed to be funny win these awards.

And the thing is, had they not set up CLEARLY that these two were explictly IN LOVE in S2, I wouldn't be so impatient. I wasn't in The X-Files. But as it's been set up? This is pathetic. And NO ONE WANTS TO SEE THEIR OTHER LOVE INTERESTS. IT'S NOT BAD IN A GOOD OR DRAMATIC WAY. IT'S JUST FLAT-OUT BAD. It just takes away from the procedure of the show and the other characters for no good reason, for something not even non-shippers want to see.

So glad 30 Rock didn't win anything. It's really gone downhill.

I think Glee was meant to be a comedy. It's just not a "sitcom." It has arcs. But I laugh out loud every single episode. Modern Family I do too, but it just seemed to lose it's steam toward the end of the season. The finale was just...not good.

I'll list my shows, now that I've consulted the premiere calendar: Brothers & Sisters, 90210, Lonestar, Castle, How I Met Your Mother, Glee, Life Unexpected, Parenthood, The Good Wife, Raising Hope, Modern Family, Cougar Town, UnderCovers, The Vampire Diaries, The Office, My Generation, Grey's Anatomy. And Friday Night Lights and Parks and Rec when they come back....I watch too much TV.

I wonder if there will be some viewer backlash. Cause its all just become way too repetitive.

I'm glad there are a few new Fall shows that look interesting. Last season was pretty bland.

I think there is already fan backlash.

ETA: You probably meant ratings, duh. I don't know if it'll drop significantly. It's a procedural show, which is easy for an audience to keep up with, so that could soften the blow. But the show's getting older and they keep dancing around it. The ratings could definitely drop, especially if there's a loss in quality writing or acting wise.
