I'm also liking this Jess girl. Maybe that was because she was Michelle Tanner's friend from Full House. But I thought she was good, too.

Usually, whichever school is "better" is the one that's harder to get into. We grew up in Fairfax County in VA and my brother went to public school- he was allowed to keep going to Herndon High even though we moved out of the district and he should have been going to South Lakes, but it's nearly impossible to get into Oakton, the best one (that isn't the gifted and talented school, that one isn't district specific, you have to take tests to get in) unless you live in the district. Which incidentally, those lines for the Oakton school district are set up in a seemingly random and bizarre way where kids much farther away are in their "zone" than others who are closer- until you realize the zones are encompassing some of the richest neighborhoods. It's very, very political, how they draw the lines, and often it's very racist. Schools that are predominantly white when looking at statistics of ethnicity will often get much more funding than schools that are predominantly black.

I guess zoning is really the only way to control school applications, but it seems really unfair. I'd be spitting chips if zoning rules were as serious where I am.

Also, GREY'S ANATOMY IS ON FIRE again. Bloody oath. And Jessica Capshaw is amazing. Arizona PWNS.

There was a line in one of the recent episodes where one of the characters said something like "I wonder why Lucas isn't visiting, he isn't doing anything".

Which clearly, LOL.

Jess is the one Landry had an accident with. But I like the other girl too. The show is just really on, per usual.

The weird thing about the school near me is that the socio-economic demos didn't change, because it is a predominately rich community. The race demos didn't change either. It's just that most of the "star" football players could somehow remain, and the less talented players were forced to relocate. It was pretty much all about football. Which is sad.

Also, add me to the list of people who love Arizona! I haven't watched this week's ep yet, though.

The only good thing is to see Ellen so happy. Maybe from this week the show will become Grey's Anatomy again. Maybe...
(Shepherd 's Anatomy was the best episode of the season for now)

I don't know, I get the feeling Hilarie means she won't ever be going back to OTH as her full time job. I still don't think she'd be opposed to coming back for the finale or something.

I agree, Liz. She seems set with her production company, but if time allowed and they wanted her to guest star, I'd think she'd be a lot more willing. Especially more than Chad.

BTW, Busy Phillipps calling him a d0uche at the Dawson's Creek panel cracked me UP.
