BA might get the #1 spot if Joss hadn't ended like Spike was still a viable option- that cheapened it for me.

You know the thing Buffy and Spike were wrong,but it never been my problem because Joss made it clear Buffy true is Angel and same thing goes to him.

I do think that's true. I don't think Spike had a snowball's chance in hell of "ending up with the cookie", so to speak, and I think Spike knew it. Spike was never going to be the "she loves him more than she will ever love anything in this life" guy. That was always going to be Angel.

Exactly.
It was established who is the many Buffy loves and will always do and that was enough for me.Riley and Spike both never stood a chance against Angel.
