I love the idea of Mark/Meredith just cause their scenes are legendary. But then that would ruin DM forever so no.

Really, not by much, lol. The writers blog already refers to her as a ______ fish and 'not a real human being' around Derek. She can only go so much further in their eyes.

Mark isn't my ideal match for Meredith, to be clear. But it's got nothing to do with Derek. I could not possibly care less about how anything makes Derek feel. I don't really think Mark ever WILL reform, so he's not trustworthy for Meredith.

That's another unfortunate point. I'd rather her love interest be someone who doesn't give a ******* about Derek, the way 98% of the cast doesn't. She doesn't need to pick the one other character on the show that gives a crap about him, lol.
