OTH was so ****ing good this week, I can't even believe it. It was the most perfect episode and I think probably my favourite episode to date.

I LOVED Peyton as the lead protagonist and how the episode was kinda told through her eyes. I loved the journey she underwent!! Character development and peeling back layers is my favourite thing about television (which is why Marissa was outstanding) and I loved how we got an entire emotional journey for Peyton in just 40 minutes. I loved her visiting the grave site and that triggering the right thing to do. And I loved that we got to see her go back to her art.

I also loved the bits with the girl living in her room. It's clear that Mark loves Peyton and LP.

I was also floored by Hilarie this week. Truth be told, she's usually the queen of over the top acting. This week it was all pulled back and raw and her tears were real and she was really feeling Peyton.

Lucas and Lindsay didn't even bother me cause it was all about Peyton growing into some kind of acceptance. And I can truthfully say that if this were the end of LP for good, I'd actually be more than satisfied.

Haley was a grade A bitch this week. I was happy that while she was busy judging Peyton, Nathan was kissing the Nanny. And speaking of, the nanny rocks lol. Wicked arc for Nathan and Carrie this week too.

And Brooke. It was exciting to have her work her Brooke charm again lol. She was on fire. And Sophia was looking even more smokin' hot than usual

Can't believe I've typed this much about OTH lol. It was fricken gold.

PEYTON HAD THE FINAL VOICE OVER! I seriously loved everything about her in this episode and you're right, it seemed to be told through her eyes. But after that ending last week it kind of needed to be. Lucas is an A-1 d0uche, and Peyton has been a little bit of a bitch this season to Lindsay (which I have loved), but I never doubted for a second it would be her to take the high road.

I like the scenes with the girl in her room too. I loved her note at the end of the episode being the final V.O. and I loved that even though the girl painted over Lucas and Peyton's names on the closet door, they're etched into it making it kind of permanent.

I really find no problem with Hilarie's acting, like, ever. In fact, I find her to be better in angry/sad emotional scenes (Sophia, I love you but when you angrily cry, your voice gets way too shrill and higher than a dog could hear) than a lot of the others on the show. There are times when over the top is the theme (Psycho!Derek!) and her scenes this season that have bothered everyone else haven't bothered me, because now that I understand how Lucas left her, she is completely within reason acting upset now that he's trying to be her "friend". Plus that scene in question I've seen a better take of from a fan/'razzi video, so not Hil's fault. And the book scene is probably my favorite scene to date. She's super pissed, throwing those books, and then she starts crying. I could seriously watch it over and over. I thought those performances were great.

But this week was another kind of great. An understated, quiet performance and really raw. The scene at the grave was friggin' amazing and I could watch it over and over too. I also loved the scene in the gym with Lucas. It's like Peyton's just so tired and can't fight anymore, so she's just going to bury her feelings and be Lucas's friend. Like Keith did with Karen. Have I mentioned how much I love the grave scene? And there's no way this is the end of LP. No way.

Lucas bothers me because he's a d0uche to both Peyton and Lindsay, and he proposed to Lindsay with Peyton's ring (which I think Brooke knows- good small moment from Sophia there). Haley is such a little bitch. Just because someone accepts a proposal at age 16, doesn't mean everyone else needs to missy. And PS, your marriage sucks. Maybe that's what held Peyton back when Lucas proposed. No one aspires to be Naley. And that nanny, while annoying, just makes it hilarious.

Brooke was a great friend to Peyton this week. I love when they burned Lucas's book. And I loved her showing up naked in the bartender's car and then putting on her clothes and getting back out. What a tease. But someone help Sophia out with her voice. Does she have laryngitis?

Damn, I typed a lot about OTH too.
