I think Kate have deep feelings for Both Jack and Sawyer,she see sawyer as her mirror because they are similar had gotten their hand dirty alot of time and Jack he is like the good guy or whatever

Kate probably will end up with Jack, because the writers won't have the balls to go with the unpredictable option and will pander to the "Jate is fate!!1!11!" section of the fanbase.

So Sawyer and Kate's relationship isn't all OMG perfect and healthy, well, no relationship is.

Jack and Kate would also be totally ****ed up if they got together, because they fit together as much as trying to hammer a square peg in to a round hole. Kate does not love Jack IMO, she has a fangirl crush on the hero image she has of him, big difference between that and love. This "all about sex" crap that keeps getting used against Skate (and House/Cuddy too) drives me up the mother****ing wall, it's so easy to use that label against a ship and just conveniently ignore everything else.

Just because two people have sexual chemistry they can't have an emotional connection as well? I really don't get that. It's just an easy way to trash a couple, so that you can ignore everything else that's going on between them.

Jeez, I don't even care that much about Lost and I can still get all ranty, go me.

I have no idea about House/Cuddy, but I think Skate is about both sex and Kate's daddy issues. Jate has to do with Kate's daddy issues too, don't get me wrong, but she had a good daddy and a bad daddy, and Sawyer's the bad daddy and Jack's the good daddy. Nothing I've seen of Skate indicates to me it's anything beyond a twisted form of self loathing and what she feels she deserves, which isn't much. Because she's not my favorite character, I'll be okay if she ends up with Sawyer as long as Jack makes it out okay, but any time I feel myself drawn into her character at all I want her to run from Sawyer. Not even necessarily TO Jack, just FROM Sawyer.

And Sawyer, to be frank, screams white trash to me and I haven't bothered to analyze him much further, lol. He can be funny, and Josh- while I don't think he's as talented as Foxy, Naveen, Terry, or Daniel- is very charismatic, but he's not a wildly interesting character, and the anvils of why he's such a creep are way too heavy handed and childishly concocted for me to actually get involved in his story. I find Jack's more ingrained flaws and subtle failings more compelling- he's a much more realistic depiction of a talented, driven surgeon thrown into a mess like this than anyone on GA. He's an arrogant perfectionist, because he feels he has to be.

And like HP, in life and death situations, I like the USEFUL folk the most, lol.

Cat, you claim that Kate doesn't love Jack and just has a hero complex, so aren't you ignoring everything else that goes on between THEM? LOL. It goes both ways.

Anyway, I'm like Liz, I don't really care who ends up with who. Jate/Skate debates scare me, lol.

That's a big problem with that triangle, lol. Very compelling arguments can be made on both sides that make it look like she doesn't love either man. I'm not sure she does, although granted I'm not saying she has to. In Lost time, she's known both for a relatively short period of time in an extreme life and death situation, which is why I cut her some slack I might not otherwise do on any other show. I don't feel anyone is obligated to pick a soul mate out of this group, lol.

ETA: I find it so randomly charming that these two are close. Such a nice example to set for those kids.

I think it helps that Bruce and Demi were no longer IN love with each other. There was no animosity on either side. But, yeah, Bruce/Ashton are so adorable.

And I don't see ONLY sexual chemistry between House/Cuddy. It's obvious that they respect each other, and in their own screwed up way, they both know it.

Also, Carl from Lost is the pretzel guy on OTH!

I prefer House/Cuddy above House/Cameron but House is the one show where I don't really ship a couple. House on his own is awesome enough for me.

I'm not so sure about this just because the two main writers are completely split. One of them loves JK the other one loves SK. This triangle is definitely going to go down to the very last minute. They siad it would be resolved last season,and it wasn't at all.

Yesss! I hate when people use the "it's all about sex" thing against them. The whole point is that it's so much more. It usually IS all about the sex for Sawyer. With Kate,it's not. He's a selfish character,I know that. But Kate is someone that he would, and has,risked his life for. He would die for her. That's the difference.

Also,I'm not denying what Jack and Kate have between them, obviously she sees something in him,I know that. But for me, I see that as a completely self-destructive relationship. Jack needs someone more like him, he needs someone stable. A fugitive? He couldn't handle her. There is no way that he could. It wouldn't be fair to him, and it wouldn't be fair for Kate to be stuck with someone who can't accept her for who she truly is.

I love it when I see random actors in other shows. I'm like "That was the dude from so-and-so" and then my friends look at me like I'm all crazy.

So Kate has to be with another criminal? She can't leave her past behind and start fresh? Both Kate and Sawyer deserve more than another criminal, imo.

And I don't see how Jack hasn't accepted Kate. Kate has basically always been his #1 priority. If Sawyer would die for Kate, so would Jack.

I don't think Jack can't accept it, and I don't think it's fair to put it all on him. Is he taken aback, may he struggle a bit? Yeah, and I think he should. Kate's not some evil person, but homegirl done wrong in her day, lol, and she should be called on it to some extent. "I fully participated in holding up a bank in order to get a toy plane that belonged to a dead man who would in no way, shape, or form approve of the actions I took to get it back." I mean, dude. SOMEONE needs to smack her upside the head and make her see a little sense, lol. Does he see her as vile and disgusting as a result of it? No, I've never seen that at all. I think those are HER opinions of herself that she sees in his eyes. He doesn't believe he's on some dazzling other universe so much better than hers. She does. She has a very high opinion of him and a very low opinion of herself, and the truth is likely somewhere in between on both levels. He's not the hero she sometimes thinks he is, and she's not the scum of the earth she thinks she is. I think Kate can be better than who she believes herself to be, and should try to attain that for herself. But that person? That she WANTS to be, and I believe can be? Is so much better than Sawyer. She deserves more than the extremely limited amount Sawyer has to offer her at the end of the day, and I never saw that more clearly than in the finale last season. If I really thought Kate was some irredeemable cold-blooded murderous criminal, I'd say "What the hell. Put her with Sawyer." But I don't think she is, and I certainly don't think she wants to be, Jack and Sawyer or no Jack and Sawyer. The right person in your life should inspire you to be a better person for yourself, because you want to, because you know you deserve more, and I don't see that coming from Sawyer to Kate.
