I sometimes wonder what VM would be like if it were picked up on HBO or FX or something.

I so would've loved to hear Veronica say to Logan, "Well, I'm pretty sure you won't be getting your c*ck bong back."

I also loved the way the Lilly storyline could've been. With the PBS cinematographers finding her in the kelp bed, meaning that Jake actually disposed of his own daughter's body to cover for Duncan. Would've been interesting.

Liz, the original pilot script is crazy. Granted it gives away a little too much, and RT sort of dragged a few scenes to later in the season, it is pretty cool.

I've read that. Interesting. Particularly how Logan seemed on paper; you can really see how Jason just made him come to life.

She probably is at some point, lol. But she's certainly prominently featured.

Yeah, well Logan is introduced as the OPJ in the pilot script, but even the transfer from script to screen can be seen in the finished pilot. JD is so terrific as Logan. That character would've FALLEN APART in the hands of a lesser actor. Of course, so would Veronica. KB and JD are just friggin' talented.

LMAO. Maybe I'll get to Buffy at some point.

The Logan we actually see is COMPLETELY different from the Logan in that script; really shows what a charismatic actor can do.

Oh, yeah, definitely. I was just talking in terms of character development; I don't know what RT had planned after the pilot and how much changed due to JD's performance. I'm pretty sure that he would've been one of those layered characters regardless, but I found Logan likable from the beginning. Even as he smashed in Veronica's headlights.

Had to come back because I just remembered this: That scene "Do you really still believe that Lilly's father did this...?" That line was originally given to one of the kids at the computer (minus the "She was my girlfriend, your friend" portion of course), but after seeing JD's performance in other scenes, RT gave it to him. Maybe it actually was JD's performance that made him decide to layer Logan so much.

Ok, random thing I found yesterday on ew.com in Katherine Heigl's interview with them. It's very random for the Alias fans here!

"They passed, and then brought her back to try for a variety of roles on Alias. She was sure she'd finally booked a part playing Michael Vartan's evil wife. They went with someone else."

I don't know. I just can't imagine her playing that role.

She could have been Lauren? I would have loved to see that. LOL.

She would've been a little too young, I think. Vartan was 34 in S3. Katherine was what, in her early 20s or something? Lauren was supposed to be a fairly advanced NSA agent; they would've had to re-tool the part from what we saw to fit her and Vaughn would have looked like a bit of a cradle robber, lol. However, she might have worked well with David, who's very young.

AHHH Liz, that was AWESOME. I love the use of the kiss scene in black and white towards the end. The clips you chose were perfect. And I loved how you used Pam's speech in Beach Games at the end and then the part where you show her note was perfect. And I'm glad you ended it with the scene you did, rather than then the "so it's a date" scene. So many videos made post-finale end with that, and some of them make sense but then some of them are kind of a slow/sad song and it just doesn't fit. But you ended it on a perfect note.

Okay I reallly should not be on FF right now considering I have like 8 billion things to do and my parents are as pissed off as they've ever been at me..but I saw the OT title and had to watch/express my excitement. Hee. Make more, Liz! (I'm so demanding, I know.) One's not enough when it comes to JAM!
