And in the midst of the wacky humor is some reality, because I've worked as a receptionist and anyone who has as well can say: you're treated horribly a lot of the time, lol. Like some inferior species. It's usually good money and it's nothing like, impossible to do, lol, but damn. I worked at a temp agency for a couple years, largely receptionist since temp agencies just LOVE using girls in particular for that, and the amount of office people who truly believed when I first came in that it was shocking that I knew how to accurately use the telephone. I don't need a two hour course on how your phone works. No, SERIOUSLY.

I always love Pam's line...early in season one, where she says, "I just don't think it's many little girls' dream to be a receptionist." Because it was mine. A small part of me still thinks there would be nothing cooler.

I have a different opinion about Derek but I agree about MD/Gizzie. They are different and honestly I don't think Gizzie are true love etc.

Ellen and Patrick saved Meredith and Derek this season. Their chemistry is always present, maybe because they are two great friends in the real life. They are two talented actors and they deserve good scripts. If the fans won't boycott GA this season, writers should be grateful to them, Sandra Oh and few others.
