MySpace and IMDB both list Mischa as starring in a new quirky comedy called The Science of Cool:

Mischa has been attached to a political dramedy called "Upstate" for several months. Will anything be confirmed on this role?

Mischa graces the covers of FHM in the UK, Marie Claire in Spain and Dolly in Australia. She is also featured in editorial spreads for BlackBook in the United States and Vanity Fair in Italy.

And remember that chick, who now is Brooke's mom on OTH, killing her abusive boyfriend or something on a boat? Man, that show was crazy, lol. I'm having flashbacks.

I imagine Mischa would probably be the most interested in playing the new Amanda or new Kimberly, but I could be wrong.

Somebody released a breakdown of the roles in the pilot a while back. I'm looking for it. Only two or three of the roles have been cast as far as I know.

I would DIE A SUDDEN DEATH if Mischa was the new Amanda. Heather Locklear was my Mischa when I was 9, lol. I was into older women

Kristen Davis was on that show too, until she died in the pool (I think). And Josie Bissett! Actually, that show had a lot of characters, lol.

The one that got typecast for me was Grant Show, though. Even when he was on GA as Addison's brother, I was like "Why is Jake out of Melrose Place?"

The mentioning of shoes in the character description makes me immediately think of Mischa, since she's such a fashion icon. Plus the fact that she's pretty sharp.

Was Grant Show the one who started on 90210 for a minute?

ETA: Looks like a girl named Katie Cassidy is playing Ella on Melrose. The other role cast is the Jonah character, and that's Michael Rady who is Max on Greek. If we're to go by the reports of Mischa "testing" for the role, I'd say she's up for Riley, because they would likely test chemistry with the actor who's playing her fiancee.

He was actually playing the same character- MP was a spin-off. He was the one who started it.

I could see her being any of those roles, though which one would appeal to her enough to go to the CW is another thing. Lauren is definitely an interesting one, and certainly someone with potentially a lot of layers to her, although I don't hold out much hope of them being properly explored as in FNL seeing as this was the soap to end all soaps.

The whole "testing" thing is strange since I wouldn't have though Mischa would need to have auditioned for a role on the CW, although it did mention execs were wetting themselves about her joining so it was either just a formal "lets put you on tape just to show everyone how great you'd be" or they were testing out chemistry with possible partners.
