Never drove on the East Coast, only the West, where I think things are probably a lot more chilled most of the time. Here in the UK, I don't think things are as bad a lot of the time, but I wouldn't want to try driving in London! (If I have to go to London, I always use the train to get there, and then the Tube or buses to get around.)

I feel like I'd literally have a heart attack driving on the other side of the road. There was this bizarre patch of road in Charlotte, where for about 500 feet over a bridge, they for some reason changed the lanes so I'd be driving on the left side of the road for that one little stretch, and it never failed to freak me out.

That's a really weird way of doing things!

Actually, once you get used to it, driving on the left feels quite normal. And you either get used to it, or you end up crashing a lot! As things are, I have to be able to drive on either side of the road, as I still drive on the right whenever we go home to visit my folks, so I'm pretty used to switching back and forth as required. But it can feel strange the first time that you do it. (And I haven't crashed once yet!!)

Probably the hardest thing for me to get used to was the fact that, over here, most cars aren't automatics. But, given the way the roads are here, that actually makes more sense, as automatics can struggle a bit with the twisty roads and the hills. So, in addition to getting used to driving on the other side of the road, I also had to get used to changing gears for myself, rather than letting the car do it for me.

And the other strange thing here? Instead of four-way intersections with lights, they usually have a traffic island, where you have to try and find a gap in the traffic to pull out into. I was absolutely terrified the first time I had to do that, but now I do it without really thinking.

I wonder how Mischa gets on with driving on different sides of the road?

LOL, I'm almost afraid to know. She has a hard enough time driving on one side of the road sometimes.

She certainly hasn't been spotted doing any driving at all for the past few months.

Well, after the incident with the truck, she may be a little gunshy.

Maybe. Then again, she could be driving regularly, but has been really good at flying under the radar of all the paps.

Yeah, could be. Her Halloween picture didn't give her location IIRC.

I have noticed that, sometimes, she waits a few days until she's moved on somewhere else before posting pictures, using the "set location" feature to change the location to where the picture was taken, rather than having it as where she is when she actually posts it. So it can be a little deceptive at times - probably deliberately, so as to throw off the paps.

Yeah, she's actually always been private that way- she only rarely reveals where she's going next.

Which can be quite frustrating, as it forces us to try and guess what she's up to!!

I mostly wish she'd be more active on social media when she's working on a project, which is often kind of the point for an actor's social media account, lol.

Being more active generally on social media would probably help her career, but being more active while she's working on stuff would certainly be a good start. It does seem like she's quite a bit behind the curve when it comes to things like that, when you see how others out there use it to help promote their projects and keep their profiles high.

I remember that when she was younger, she openly admitted to really being behind when it came to technology. Like, barely knowing how to turn on her laptop. Bad millennial. LOL.

I think she's probably more comfortable with a book than she is with a computer.
