Don't forget her Snapchat account as well - although she seems to have lost interest in that even more than she has the other accounts.

What I mean is that maybe the pictures are still being taken, but the sites that we know about where they get posted aren't posting them. I keep an eye on a number of the candids websites, and I've noticed over the past year or so that they seem to have been losing interest in Mischa, apart from when she had all of the problems at the start of the year. Some of the sites that used to post quite a few sets of candids of her on a regular basis have become very infrequent with the posts of new pictures. And where previously all of the sites would have carried the different sets of pictures, some of the more recent sets maybe only appeared on one site out of the half-dozen or so I keep an eye on.

So that's what I was wondering - if the fact that she's not really been in the news so much recently (apart from for all the wrong reasons), or had a major movie release or TV show, has led to those running the candids websites losing interest in her at the moment because they don't think that the pictures of her would draw people in to their websites.

Yeah, I've noticed that some sites that used to be all over her and post pretty much every set of pictures that came out aren't doing that anymore. They either take ages to post them, whereas before they'd be up within 24 hours, or don't post them at all.

So it could be a combination of her dodging the paps a bit, and the pictures that are taken not being posted as widely because some of the website owners have lost interest in her.

When she does post on Snapchat, it's usually pretty good. It's just a shame she does it so infrequently!

Her Snapchat posts can be pretty strange at times, but I guess that's typical of a lot of posts on there (not that I follow many people there at all!).

Snapchat can be soooo freaky, especially with all of the different filters.

I know literally nothing about Snapchat, lol.

The only reason I use Snapchat is to see what Mischa and a few others have posted there. I've never actually posted anything there myself.

In the comments to that picture, Mischa did reply to a couple of comments from her friends and, in one of them, she did say that it IS Angelo. So it looks like he is still with us - but from the sound of it, Mischa doesn't see him very often now.

(Of course, it could be another cat with the same name.......)

Huh, then Angelo may not be the cat she was pictured with as a teen. Because that cat had a paler face and shorter hair.

Still, lol, Angelo must be reaching 20 at this point.

How often do publications and websites get things wrong in articles and photo captions? Very often, a reporter or photographer makes careful notes of things at the time, but they can then get garbled or otherwise mixed up when it gets further along the line. You should have seen some of the mistakes and other stuff I saw in articles about the magic act I was in!

Usually, it wasn't the reporter's fault, as it was the sub-editor or editor who decided to do a rewrite without checking the details through properly. It could well be that they had pictures of Mischa with more than one cat, and the editor thought that particular cat, and that name, best fitted the article. After all, who apart from Mischa, her family and close friends would really know the difference between the cats?

If Mischa says that's Angelo, then I know which source I'm going to believe, as she should know which cat is which.

Oh, if she says that's Angelo, it's Angelo. The other cat must have just been another cat.

But she's been talking about Angelo for...I think like 15 or so years, and Angelo wasn't a kitten at the time, so Angelo must be in his late teens, at least.

I get the feeling from your last post that maybe you feel I was having a go at you. If that's the case, I wasn't - I was saying that given the choice between a magazine article and Mischa's own posts, I know who I trust.

As for Angelo's age, some cats can live to be about 30, so it's not impossible for him to be that old.

Oh no, I was wondering if I was coming off like I was questioning if Mischa knows who Angelo is, lol. I'm sure she does better than any of us.

The oldest cat I know of lived to be 22, but the oldest of my cats lived to be 17. I've had them die at 17, 15, 14, and 11 (the 11 year old had diabetes at 7, so there were other issues there).

I'm Facebook friends with Hania, and she posted some pictures of Angelo in the same outfit, which I assume were taken at the same time. Poor cat - he really doesn't look happy at having to wear it! :lol:
