Well, we all have our favorites, as I love my hoops and am rarely seen wearing anything different - but I do switch between different pairs.

But, at the moment with Mischa, it's more a case of "that earring", as in both of her most recent Snapchat posts (there's a new one just gone up a couple of hours ago), she's just wearing one earring (the figure-of-eight one), and nothing at all in the other ear...

I frequently wear small gold, sapphire studded hoops, but that earring is so big and so distinctive, lol.

I tend to go for largish (2"-3") gold or silver hoops most of the time.

So I see we have a new photoshoot, and again she's just wearing the one earring in her left ear. It has me wondering if she's maybe got a problem with her other ear and can't wear anything that side at the moment?

I wonder if that earring, and there being only one of them, has some sort of meaning to her (what, I cannot speculate, lol). Because it can't be a fashion choice THIS many times out.

Well, she did start off by pairing it with that diamond-shaped one, but that hasn't been seen for a while. She has worn that other pair too, which she wore when she was seen about the time of the apartment move.

But I still can't get over the whole just wearing that one and nothing at all the other side, not even a stud. Both pairs that she's been seen wearing seem really heavy and really pull on her lobes, and that's why I'm wondering if she's got a problem with one ear as a result of the weight pulling on it. I think we both know the problem of big heavy earrings and what they can do to your lobes - maybe Mischa has made the common rookie mistake and gone too heavy too soon, and that's caused her a problem on that side?

And yeah, it seems like it could have some special significance to her...

Looks like our theory about that earring was wrong - In the latest pics of her, you can see that she's wearing the other one from the same pair on the other side. I guess the mismatched earrings and just one earring bits were just her being her usual quirky self!

She's still been so quiet Can't really blame her after what's happened to her the past couple months.

She's not totally absent from social media, as she seems to check in just about every day on Instagram to "like" a few pictures from her friends and others. But that does seem to be it for her social media activity right now.

That she's on at all would suggest she probably is deliberately keeping a low profile, rather than just being too busy to sign on. Like I said, I can't blame her, but it's sad

She looks gorgeous as always, but I think you can see the effects that the recent problems have had on her, and the strain they've put her under.
