As we all know the news cycle surrounding Mischa has kinda lost its pulse.
To summarise the latest: Mischa is definitely on set for for something, as evidenced by her most recent Instagram post. We think it's for The Malevolent.  Quote:

All the articles seemed to have been pointing to Father. Even though that seemed like a long a shoot time for such a low budget movie - but maybe she had time off in between shooting days.

With ABC Family trying to become a bit more grown up, it would be great if a pilot opened up for her there.

The promo isn't half-bad either- the lead male seems a bit blank, but I like the girl. And LOL- "a higher power, who I choose to call Beyonce."

Shamazon UK have put up DVD release dates for 2 of Mischa's films.
Abducted (AKA L.A. Slasher*) January 25th Hope Lost March 21st *Another film of Mischa's re-titled for it's UK release, and another that I prefer the original US title. I Will Follow You Into The Dark, was truncated to Into The Dark for us across the pond. |

The title change for LA Slasher is an odd decision as that movie is clearly about L.A. and Hollywood. Abducted sounds very generic.

I hate how that happens to horror movies so often, they just randomly pick the most generic name imaginable that does nothing to set it apart from everything else.
At least L.A. Slasher has a hook. __________________
